So, I have not posted for 2 yrs and felt the need to start our family blog back up. So much has happened.....major milestones:
Moved to Summerlin, Las Vegas, NV Dec. 30, 2011.
Milana is finishing up kindergarten at Lummis Elementary, which is within walking distance of our house. She has made so many new friends and loves playing at the park, riding her scooter, riding her bike to school :) & reading lots of books. She is our little sterling scholar.
Halle Rae is just finishing up her first year of pre-school at Challenger and just had her spring performance today. She just made her first school friend, Amelia, and loves having playdates with her. She's definitely not really interested in school at this point, but she loves playing babies and dress-up with her sister. She also loves to ride her scooter as fast as possible down the steep sidewalk at the park......and yes, she crashes, a lot! But, she just gets right up and keeps going. No fear with this one :) She just had her first gymnastics class yesterday and I could not stop laughing. She just gets right up on the beam and does not hesitate one bit. She really liked it, so I think we've finally found her nitch in what she wants to do.
Oh, and swimming lessons......I can't believe I waited so long. They both love it and are both doing great! Milana wants to go every single day. Halle Rae just thinks she is a little dolphin.
Last but not least, Max, the "resort dog." That's his new name since we moved to Las Vegas. He has completely changed....he is calm, lazy, and sits outside every day on the patio and sun tans. He loves the warm weather and he loves to just meander around the backyard for hours and hours.
I have to say......so far so good :) We are very lucky to have landed in such a great neighborhood. No complaints thus far, except of course, we miss family and friends, so please come visit :) We love you all!
